We rely on a quality jury with big names from the beginning and your compositions are evaluated by international music and film business experts from the EU, Asia, Australia and the US, who work actively for national television, the largest Asian and Hollywood film studios as well as Netflix. Of course, we have original custom made trophies for the absolute winners of all competition categories. You can watch the trophy on a video here. All finalists of the competition will receive an official certificate.

Yes, of course, all those who have previously competed in the FMC and been semi-finalists, finalists, or winners are eligible to apply. Every year FMC provides brand new film and video game works for you to compose music for in our scoring categories.

Plus, a new year of the contest means a new chance for music you have already composed to be entered in an audio only category. It is not unusual for entrants who fail to advance one year of the competition to reapply the next and finish in a better position or even achieve one of the top spots in the competition.
