FMC-Statement on COVID-19
Dear friends and FMC participants, music composers, sound designers, musicians, producers, international partners. We strongly believe that during these days you are safe and staying at home. Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite the very difficult situation, our FMC team is working intensively from their home offices and recording studios.
At the same time, we are in contact with the members of our FMC 2020 prestigious jury from different parts of the world. They are currently listening and evaluating the competition entries in each category in their studios.
FMC 2020 Gala ceremony, with the big symphonic orchestra with the announcement of the winners and with the personal participation of the members of the FMC jury, media representatives, international guests, should have been the form of the official closing of the FMC 2020. Based on internal emergency measures of each state, ban on the organization of cultural events and travel ban we had to cancel this Gala ceremony.
We are preparing and working on an alternative. The official announcement of the winners of FMC 2020 will take place online. We will be recording it on cameras and share the final video edit with you. Subscribe to our YouTube channel so you will not miss the announcement of the winners. We are planning to premiere the video on the same day as the gala ceremony was planned, however, it is possible that we will have to postpone its premiere by a few days due to the constantly changing situation.
