During last year’s lockdown, I came across an advertisement for this competition. I took a look at the website and I found the contest really interesting and immediately decided to subscribe to the video games category. I think it is important to take part in composition contests, especially if they are relevant, like FMC is, as you have the opportunity to challenge yourself at a professional level and be judged by experts from all over the world. I hope that FMC will be supported and last for a long time, because these initiatives motivate, encourage and give some visibility to composers who constantly work “behind the scenes”.
